An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a world-leading manufacturer that is at the forefront of innovation in the electronics industry. This role is ideal for a confident Engineer with a comprehensive understanding of electrical and electronic design, looking to apply their technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Engage in electrical assembly and design, including wiring harness design and electronic control/interface design.
- Create engineering drawings, build and test guides.
- Work on AC/DC power distribution, as well as analogue and digital circuit design.
- Conduct fault finding and problem-solving activities.
- Collaborate with specialists within a project, advising on equipment design/integration.
- Meet tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
- Contribute to the development of new products.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional experience in electrical design.
- Proven experience in electrical/electronic design.
- Strong understanding of Machinery Safety Regulations, EU harmonised standards, and the design of safety circuits.
- Experience in regulated environments with exposure to EN60204, EN13849, UL/NFPA regulations.
- Ideally, some experience with AutoCAD/Solid Edge and proficiency in these tools.
- Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £50,000.
