Electrical Design Engineer

We are currently working with an established electrical engineering contractor based in Derby, who deliver full design, installation, and maintenance of projects across a variety of sectors.

They are currently on the hunt for an Electrical Design Engineer, with previous experience working in residential, educational, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Electrical Design Engineer - Position Overview

• Designing electrical installation projects from £400K - £4 Million.
• Maintain, implement, and improve electrical systems and their components.
• Identify complex design problems, conduct root-cause failure analyses, and anticipate production issues.
• Ensuring projects meet safety regulations.
• Documenting projects.
• Developing purchase orders.

Electrical Design Engineer - Position Requirements

• Proven experience within a similar role.
• A minimum of 2 years using in Revit.
• Ideally some experience using BIM.
• Excellent organisational skills, punctuality and time keeping.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work well with others.

Electrical Design Engineer - Position Remuneration

• £50,000 - £65,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
