An opportunity for an HNC or above Electrical Engineer to learn, develop, move into Electrical Design Engineering.

My customer is a busy, growing manufacturer of Industrial Electrical Control Panels, PLC control systems, MCC's, PLC control panels, which are used in many clever industrial automation projects. As part of a 5 year plan to grow the business-- and have the skills within the business to go forwards - they have announced a new role for an ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER.

Joining a team of experienced Electrical Design Engineers who will mentor you on projects, upskill you, and develop your skills into EPlan P8 electrical CAD drawings, so that you can start to design your own electrical control panels, compile BOM's, size and select control panel components, drives, motors, controllers, cabling schematics, control panel layouts.

Of course, it would be a real head-start if you have some experience of control panel wiring, or some PLC automation project knowledge, or some Electrical CAD drawing experience now-- and naturally, if we could get those skills, you could advance quicker in salary and responsibility.

The company can offer you a good package, benefits, paid overtime, chance to get involved in cutting-edge industrial control and automation projects. In a world that is fast automating, it's a great career to have.
