Position Overview:

This role is a full-time hybrid or remote position for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, open to candidates at all experience levels, with the option for remote work. The engineer will be instrumental in designing electrical building services for diverse clients across various projects. Apart from design duties, the role includes offering guidance to the team, conducting site inspections, directly communicating with clients, and ensuring projects are carried out efficiently within specified budgets and timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of design experience in electrical engineering.
• Relevant Higher National Diploma (HND) or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Membership in relevant engineering institutions such as CIBSE, IEE.
• Preferably chartered in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of relevant software, including Relux and Amtech.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for client liaison.
• Project a smart and professional image at all times.
• Reliable and prompt in meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated and highly organized with a keen ability to prioritize tasks with a common-sense approach.
• Positive, upbeat attitude that promotes high morale in the office.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing project requirements.
• Good telephone manner.
• Full driving license.

Other Skills (Not Essential):

• Experience with REVIT in electrical engineering projects.
• Ability to manage and lead others in a team.
• Experience in a client-facing consultant role
