This is an exciting opportunity for anyone that has operated within a SLT, preferably within a SEND provision.
Key Responsibilities of a Education Skills & Employment Finance Business Partner:
- To monitor financial transactions across education, skills and employment (ESE) including income and expenditure.
- Act as the key liaison for the Department for Education and Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
- Responsible for the day-to-day financial transaction of ‘ESE’ in particular education tuition fees, bursaries, fee structures, invoicing and purchasing.
- Maintain an updated costing record for students and keep track of all ESE income and contractual obligations.
- Build professional relationships internally and externally.
- To include the clients’ central Finance Team, Local Authorities and other external funders.
- Successful working within a senior leadership team.
- Working as part of a college senior team.
- Working with a range of external partners, including SEND commissioners.
- Experience of SEND provision.
- Project management desirable.
- Ability to work strategically.
- High degree of analytical skills.
- High level leadership and communication skills.
- Risk management.
- Good IT skills and ability to interpret performance data.
- Effective presentation skills.
