Key Responsibilities:

?? Comprehensive Support: Work closely with EHC Plan Co-ordinators to maintain accurate, efficient, and effective administrative systems and records.

?? Efficient Processes: Provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth initiation, assessment, and review of children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring compliance with statutory and local procedures.

?? Person-Centered Approach: Champion a person-centered, outcome-focused multi-agency approach to assessment, planning, and review. Ensure that children, young people, and parents are equal partners in the process, empowering them to make informed decisions about their educational journey.

?? Guidance and Support: Assist settings and parents in finding the right provision at SEN Support level, directing them to the Local Offer for more information on available services. Offer guidance and support to ensure the provision of accurate information for EHC needs assessment requests.

To Be Successful:

  • Experience working in business support/administration within local authority children's services is desirable.
  • Strong administrative skills
