We are now supporting their search for an experienced New Business Development Manager with proven experience in the Education Sector in a B2B environment, to actively sell the product. To be sucessful in your application for this role you must have a strong Education sector background, and be experienced using HubSpot.

Asthe New Business Development Manager you will be key in delivering ambitious growth plans, market position and financial growth. Focusing on developing relationships within the education sector, such as schools and colleges, your primary responsibility will be finding and bringing on board potential new customers. You will be building relationships and delivering demonstrations, focusing on gaining new clients as well as nurturing existing relationships with clients. This will include some UK travel as required for customer meetings and events.

Responsibilities:

Research: 

  • Design, develop, and execute a strategic sales plan to drive uptake of the product in the education sector, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the plan aligns with Company mission and goals.

New Business Development:

  • Using a range of methods, including cold calling, networking, LinkedIn functionality, and others as identified by you and in line with the strategy, proactively find new potential clients, and turn them into customers.
  • Identifying decision makers in potential clients organisations and create meetings, pitches and presentations that demonstrate how the product meeting their needs, overcoming any concerns or obstacles.

Client Retention:

  • Work with existing clients to present new products and/or services offered.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure that the product is effectively embedded, including liaising with technical staff and any other relevant stakeholders, including ensuring that the product is rolled out to users to maximise uptake.
  • Work with the Customer Success Team to review customer satisfaction and work to increase renewals.

Data, Analytics and Reporting:

  • Ensure that the System is always up to date and that targets are kept under review to ensure that they are being met.
  • Understand where challenges lie and develop the approach to overcome these.
  • Create regular reports for the management team to ensure that they are up to date.

Experience:

  • Must have a strong and successful proven track record in delivering Sales within the Education sector.
  • Must have experience using HubSpot.
  • A thorough knowledge of the market, competitors and future developments within the sector.
  • An ability to anticipate challenges or objection and easily reassure and address these.
  • Skilled at pitching, delivering great presentations and closing a deal.
  • Ability to find and identify opportunities for selling, finding prospective clients and using opportunities to create relationships.
  • Able to plan persuasive approaches and pitches to potential clients, easily building rapport.
  • An understanding of designing and implementing sales strategies, focusing on new actively and passionately driving sales.
  • Brilliant at building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals.
  • A natural networker, at ease with a variety of people and situations.
  • A naturally curious person, with a passion for mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborative approach, knowing when to bring others in and working with the needs and values of the business at heart.
  • Energetic, caring yet ambitious.
  • Passionate about making a difference to young people and strongly aligned to Company values and mission.
