Newman Stewart is partnering with a well-established global organisation which develops innovative solutions, systems integrations and products for its customers across of range of industries. Founded over 100 years ago this family owner UK business has vast experience of developing innovative solutions, systems integrations and products to meet its customers' needs. Operating as a systems integrator, whilst an OEM provider they operate agnostically and will only use their products if they are best fit for the clients' needs. They deliver turnkey projects covering control and automation.

Reporting to the Managing Director the role will be responsible for leading the EC&I function within the division, focusing on the development of new automated solutions worldwide and the continuous improvement of existing systems. The EC&I Manager will work closely with bid teams, manage internal and external engineering partners, to ensure the timely and budgeted delivery of solutions and oversee the commissioning and handover processes. This position is critical in upholding the company's "right-first time" approach through leadership in project design reviews and compliance with project requirements.

To be successful in this role you will hold a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Controls and Instrumentation, or a related field. Together with extensive experience in EC&I within a project-based, fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment, you can also point to a proven track record of developing and delivering automated solutions, strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide an engineering team and excellent analytical and communication skills.
