Salary: £83- £120 per day

GSL are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant  to inspire and support EYFS pupils in one of our excellent Primary School in Newcastle.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated early years Teaching Assistant to join an amazing school in the Newcastle area. As an Early Years Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work supporting teachers and students on their learning journey.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Role

• To support individuals and groups to help them learn.
• To establish an effective and purposeful learning environment in partnership with the teachers and other colleagues.
• To support teachers in assessing the needs of individual children.
•  To observe, record and feedback information on pupil performance.

Requirements of the role

• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues.
• A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• An understanding of child development and the ability to support children's learning through play-based activities.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service OR the willingness to complete an immediate application
• RTW in the UK and a fully checkable work history
