Early Years Teaching Assistant | Class SEN Focus |Newham, East London

A fantastic & supportive Primary School in East London are on the hunt for an Early Years Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start. This is a full time and long-term post.

You will be working across Early Years department in and out of the classroom. You will also be promoting learning through play & child led learning, but also utilising /creating Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths sessions.

The Head Teacher is eager to find a graduate with a genuine passion towards Early Years. The perfect graduate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player.

Part of this role will also be supporting children with SEN needs including Autism and Downs Syndrome so any experience or understanding of this is ideal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • EYFS (Reception ) Focus - Phonics, Reading, speech and language, Maths and Writing
  • Working alongside a range of 'Outstanding' Primary Teachers
  • ASAP start - Long Term & Full Time
  • £90 - £105 per day
  • Located in East London

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have a University Degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of the Early Years curriculum
  • You must be able to inspire young minds
  • Must be able to get down to the children's level and get stuck in
  • Caring and play-full personality will be required
  • Must have experience with SEN
