Academics Southampton are seeking enthusiastic, inclusive Teaching Assistant to work at a preschool within a primary school in central Southampton. The role is full time (Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm) and would ideally be an immediate start.

The suitable candidate will have recent experience supporting children in school or nurseries, and must be able to manage behaviour and support children's early learning in classes.

We are looking for someone who is able to;

* Provide assistance and supervision for children during the school day
* Assist children to understand and participate in class
* Work on a 1:1 basis with students if necessary
* Help to build confidence and motivation
* Adapt to various tasks and needs
* Travel to or already be located in Southampton

To be considered for the position you must have a valid clear DBS check or be willing to submit one via Academics.
