Prospero Teaching are recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a Primary school in Stockport!

The school provides exciting opportunities for their staff where successful candidate will be confident supporting groups of children and using effective tools and learning methods to engage young children in learning.

You will ideally have previous Early Years experience and have proven ability to adapt to challenging situations, the needs of the class and individuals.

Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as some training is provided - visit our website for more information!

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Stockport SK8
  • Position - Teaching Assistant - Early Years
  • Type of work - Long Term
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £90 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
