Early Years Teacher - Independent Pre Prep School - Kensington & Chelsea - ASAP start

Job Title: Early Years Teacher (4 to 6 year olds)

Location: Independent Pre-Prep School in Kensington & Chelsea, London

Salary: Paid to Scale

Start Date: As soon as possible (though September start candidates will also be considered)

A charming and exclusive independent pre-prep school in Kensington & Chelsea are looking to hire an Early Years Teacher to teach their 4 to 6 year olds. This is for an ASAP start.

Your class will have no more than 12 children and you will have two Teaching Assistants.

Interested candidates must hold QTS, EYTS or Level 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate records of children's progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children's development.
• Contribute to the overall positive ethos and reputation of the school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS or Level 6
• Previous experience working in an Early Years setting or within the Foundation Stage at a primary school
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
