Purpose of the job:
To provide safe, quality education and care for early years children.
To manage a small team of Early Years Educators.
To ensure that all statutory, legal and setting obligation are followed and met
Hours:
Full time in term-time 38 weeks per year
30 hours per week - 8.45am to 3.15pm with half an hour for lunch
Possibility of some 7.45am starts for breakfast club
Pay:
Current pay level is in the range of £15.40 to £17.50 p/h subject to experience.

The Job
We are looking for a new Pre-School manager for our small 22 place setting.
The right person will be an innovative, enthusiastic and a positive team player. They will have a proven track record in early years practice, and of course have the required qualifications, experience and skills to manage our small staff team and provide excellent early years education.

Stannington Village Pre-School is not a private nursery but is run by a committee and dedicated managers and staff.We have been established and a respected part of the local community for over 20 years.
Our recent Ofsted inspection resulted in a "good"rating - January 2024.
