Randstad education is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and passionate Early Years Practitioner to care for children 3-5 years in Luton.

Do you have a full and relevant NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification?

This nursery is based in the Leagave area of Luton and offers a fun and nurturing environment for 2-4 years old. The setting is a 30 place nursery providing care for children from the local community. The Nursery prides itself on preparing children for the transition to school and is part of a local school Trust. The setting is open 8am,-5pm Term time only.

We are looking for individuals who are:

    • Patient, caring, and composed to provide a secure space for children to grow and learn.
    • Imaginative and creative and can provide engaging play opportunities and activities.
    • Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude to foster a love for learning.
    • Excellent communicators and can interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
    • Well organised and can demonstrate efficient record-keeping and planning skills.
    • Possess a sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for working with and caring for children.
  • Level 3 qualified with a full and relevant qualification.

You role will Include:

  • Becoming a key person for a group of children. This will include record keeping and observation writing to support the children's development and learning.
  • Communicating with parents and other early years professionals in a professional manner.
  • Providing play opportunities and experiences for the children that are imaginative, age appropriate and engaging.
  • Engaging in on-going CPD training to ensure you have an adequate knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum and Safeguarding legislation.

  • To be able to supply two professional references
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and have proof of this
  • Have or be able to apply for a DBS
  • A full and relevant NVQ level 3 Early Years Qualification
