Lead the Way in Early Childhood Education - Early Years Officer (Room Leader)

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and inspiring a dedicated team? Our client, a highly regarded Children's Centre in Slough, is seeking an experienced Early Years Officer to join their leadership team as a Room Leader.

In this pivotal role, you will:

Play a key role in the centre's financial sustainability, supporting staff to deliver the highest quality early years education.
Lead and oversee a team of Children's Centre staff, ensuring exceptional care and education aligns with all statutory requirements.

As a Room Leader, you will:

Supervise your team, manage daily operations, and ensure adherence to curriculum plans and health & safety procedures.
Provide hands-on care and supervision for children, fostering their holistic development and meeting their individual needs.
Champion inclusion, diversity, and positive behavior management within the setting's policies.
Build strong relationships with parents, local schools, and external agencies to offer seamless care and education.
Optimize resource utilization, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with OFSTED standards.
Market and promote the Children's Centre to stakeholders and the local community.
Lead and organize team meetings, attend management meetings, and contribute to other assigned duties.

Who We're Looking For:

A Senior Early Years Practitioner with experience supervising staff in a multicultural early years environment.
A deep understanding of early education principles, staff supervision, and equal opportunities practices.
Proven management and organizational skills, including financial responsibility.
The ability to motivate, inspire confidence, and efficiently handle operational tasks.
A Level 3 qualification in early years practice (or equivalent) is essential.
A commitment to continuous professional development is highly desirable.
