Early Careers Advisor | Legal - Cardiff (Flexible Location)

TSR Legal are proud to be working with a Top 65 Law Firm who now have a brand new opportunity for an Early Careers Advisor to join their team. As the Early Careers Advisor, you will become an integral part of professional futures, guiding trainees through the initial stages of their legal careers within a vibrant and growing law firm.

Your remit will encompass the full spectrum of trainee development: from delivering tailored career advice, coordinating enriching training sessions, to orchestrating seat rotations that provide a comprehensive experience. You will craft and execute assessment centres and developmental events, ensuring a robust talent pipeline aligned with the firm's strategic vision.

Your managerial acumen will be pivotal in overseeing legal qualification pathways, including CILEX/Solicitor Apprenticeships. Your strategic approach will foster relationships with educational institutions, broadening the talent pool and enhancing diversity within the firm.

Your day-to-day will be diverse and impactful, managing trainee placements, spearheading recruitment efforts, and maintaining a dynamic Early Careers web presence. You will be the cornerstone of trainee support, from pastoral care to training queries, and the driving force behind the firms trainee contract awards process.

In collaboration with the HR Director, you will contribute to SQE processes and continuous improvement projects. Your creativity will shine through in marketing the firm’s trainee programmes, positioning this firm as an employer of distinction.

Your skills and experience will include a proven track record in graduate recruitment or trainee development, preferably in a legal or professional services context. A proactive, organised individual, you will excel in communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving. While knowledge of the SQE and apprenticeships is advantageous, it is your confidence, self-motivation, and client-centric approach that will set you apart.

Joining this firm means becoming part of a supportive HR team, where your contributions directly impact the firm's growth and success. In return, you will enjoy a suite of benefits including a Scottish Widows Pension Scheme, a staff bonus scheme, generous annual leave, and a range of wellness and lifestyle perks.
