Are you a soon to be ECT seeking a secondary school teaching role this September? Perhaps you're a dedicated ECT looking to take on daily, short term or/and long term supply roles in the first instance in Birmingham?

We partner with schools in Birmingham, Great Barr, Aston, Handsworth, Edgbaston, Harborne, Alum Rock, Saltley, Moseley, Small Heath, Kings Norton, Rednal, Longbridge, Acocks Green, Hall Green, Shirley and Solihull on a regular basis and will have many long term teaching roles of every secondary specialism from September. If you finish your teacher training this summer term from May, June or even July we can offer you work in schools before the end of term.

General supply teaching allows applicants the flexibility to choose the days they prefer to work, accommodating individual commitments seamlessly.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for their subjects with excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and a desire to contribute to a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark, and deliver high-quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long-term placements)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Good time management and ICT skills

We offer excellent rates of pay, starting from £130 - £154 per day, with pay to scale available after a qualifying period of 12 weeks. If you're an ECT seeking your first teaching opportunity, get in touch with us as soon as possible.
