West employer St. Austell Brewery is recruiting for an Ecommerce Manager. This exciting
opportunity is to join our growing and dynamic sales team. This crucial role is
responsible for overseeing, managing and developing the company’s online
ordering platform, specifically for our wholesale customers. You will also be
managing and developing our growing Ecommerce team and supporting the Head of
Sales Operations with both internal and external relationships, whilst ensuring
that our online platform is market leading, and future proofed in line with the
company’s ambitions.

About the role

Working across
functionalities, the roles responsibilities will include:

  • Managing conversion
    campaigns in line with the company strategy, and supporting customers to
    onboard to the new online platform
  • Implementing effective SEO
    strategy, setting objectives, and working with the wider marketing team to
    ensure is content is fit for purpose, and is driving visibility and sales
  • Working with our digital
    agency and internal stakeholders to drive basket spend in line with company
    objectives and budgeted top line and bottom-line growth
  • Knowledge of Umbraco or a
    similar CMS desired
  • Overseeing and the on-going
    design and development of the on-line ordering platform, in line with the
    current roadmap, working closely with the company’s web development agency and
    internal technical team.
  • Evaluating and analysing the
    current digital roadmap, and reviewing priorities and enhancements in line with
    business’ needs. Challenging our digital agency on best practice to ensure
    KPI’s kept on track.
  • Ensuring robust process for
    user acceptance testing and performance troubleshooting.
  • Prepare regular reports and
    analyse conversion numbers, that can be cascaded to the internal stakeholders,
    to help to build and develop our Ecommerce reporting dashboard
  • Future thinking and planning
    ahead to ensure the site remains relevant and current. Always keeping an eye on
    market trends, and making suggestions for improvements to our developing
    website.
