Our client design and build commercial glasshouses (greenhouses) and supply horticultural parts to growers, nurseries, and garden centres. Based in Ardleigh, Essex, they have created a company that has an enviable reputation for quality work and customer service that is unsurpassed in their industry. They are looking for a knowledgeable E-Commerce Manager to initially update their product database/stock system over the first 6 months, to then utilize the E-commerce site, alongside other marketing responsibilities.

E-Commerce Manager (Dutch Speaking)

£30-35k Basic Salary (DOE) | Ardleigh, Colchester | Mon-Fri 9-5 | Casual Dress Code, Family-Run Business, Hourly Rate/Weekly Pay | Updating Stock Management System, Managing E-Commerce Site, Social Media Management, Ongoing Website Management | Experienced in E-Commerce/Marketing | Dutch Speaking

The first 6 months of the role will be mostly updating the Stock Management system, whilst preparing the E-Commerce operations of the business. On completion of this project the role will evolve to an all-encompassing E-Commerce/Marketing role, whilst maintaining the product database.

Duties (include but are not limited to):

Initial 6 Months:

• Translate Dutch product information to input onto stock management software for entire product line
• Take pictures and weigh products, ensuring information is accurate
• Prepare company website and information to launch E-Commerce function of the site

Evolved Responsibilities:

• Ongoing maintenance of stock management software to ensure all information is accurate
• Ongoing translations from Dutch to English of product information
• Manage and promote E-commerce site to ensure sales & profits are maximised
• Utilize PPC and marketing campaigns to promote site and products available
• Build social media following across company profiles through organic and paid marketing activities
• Regularly maintain and enhance company website

Person Specification:

• Must be fluent in Dutch to be able to accurately translate product information
• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal
• Clean, current driving licence (due to location of the office)
• 2 years’ experience in E-Commerce or Marketing essential
• Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated to work alone, but also able to work in a team
• Take responsibility for issues and resolve them.
• Be proactive and react promptly to situations
