Pharmacist

Evolve is working with a brand-new client, where their people are at the heart of everything they do. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading supermarket pharmacy chain as a Duty Pharmacist, supporting their fast-paced branch in Colchester (CO4).

In this permanent role, you'll be part of a devoted team, ideally committing to a minimum of 36 hours per week across 5 days (30 hours over 4 days may be considered). The branch operates from Monday to Saturday (8am to 8pm), and Sundays (10am to 4pm). You will require flexibility to work both early and late shifts, ensuring adaptability to a dynamic work environment.

Salar ranges from £43,665 to £60,039 (£23.33 to £33.67 p/h) depending on experience, and our client offers excellent benefits that help make it a great place to work, including annual bonus at 20%, GPhC fees covered, store savings and more!

Ideal Requirements for the Duty Pharmacist

• GPhC registered Pharmacist.
• Experience of working in a busy pharmacy environment, working with high volumes of prescriptions and services.
• A team player, able to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Approachable and customer-focussed attitude.

Role Responsibilities for the Duty Pharmacist

• Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers.
• Play an active role in charities support programme giving advice to people in the community at risk of, or living with, cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
• Support the Pharmacist Manager in leading, training and developing colleagues.
• Support the Pharmacist Manager in building relationships with PCNs and GP Surgeries.
• Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
