DT Teacher / DT ECT | Outstanding Secondary School | Greenwich

We are a 'Outstanding' Ofsted graded Secondary School in the London Borough of Greenwich and are searching for a DT Teacher / DT ECT to join our team starting April 2024, following expansion and progression within the department.

The school's DT Department has fantastic facilities, offering Graphics, Resistant Materials, Textiles and Food Technology to KS3 -> KS5 students. The Head of DT is looking for a DT Teacher / DT ECT / Teacher of DT for a September start. This DT Teacher / DT ECT / Teacher of DT job opportunity will involve you teaching your subject/subjects of choice to KS3 -> KS5 students on a full-time, Long term basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• DT Teacher / DT ECT / Teacher of DT
• KS3 - KS5 Teaching Design Technology
• Open to Textiles, Graphics, Resistant Materials & Food Technology
• Delivering engaging and creative DT lessons
• Inspiring young minds and helping them develop
• Long term - Full Time - April 2024 start
• Greenwich
• £180 - £220 per day
• Located in the London Borough of Greenwich

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS - Or being the process of obtaining (Teacher Training)
• Strong academics required throughout - GCSEs, A Levels and Degree
• You must be able to work effectively within a team of DT Teachers
• Must be willing to learn and develop as a DT Teacher
• Strong understanding of the Teaching Standards required
