Drivers - Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 Tonne, Van

Are you a Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 Tonne or Van Driver? Are you seeking a new opportunity with a professional logistics company?

We have great opportunities for on-going work with one of our clients based in Rugby.

This position involves distribution of curtainsider work. Day, night and weekend shifts available. Working hours are flexible to meet the candidate’s requirements, nights out may be required. This position is temporary ongoing but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Pay rates vary between £12 and £17.50 per hour.

The Job Role

• Temporary on-going
• Early morning starts available from 00.00hrs +
• Late afternoon starts available from 16.00hrs +
• Weekend work available
• The business operates 24/7
• Curtainsider work
• Tramping
• Requires flexibility regarding start times
• Night outs may be required
• Liaising with customers and clients
• Ensuring all relevant delivery notes and paperwork are completed correctly
• Driving as per regulations and legislations regarding working, driving regulations and height restrictions

Experience

• You MUST hold a valid licence for Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 Tonne or Van driving
• Class 1, Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne Drivers will hold a valid digital tachograph card (digi-card)
• Class 1, Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne Drivers will have a valid Driver CPC Card
• Curtainsider experience is preferred but not essential
• Valid Digital Tachograph card is essential
• A good understanding of drivers hours and regulations
• You will have good attention to detail and will be able to use your initiative
• You should have good communication and customer service skills
