  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Permanent position
  • £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience

About the role:

As an Advance Steel/Tekla Draughtsman, you will be responsible for designing structural steel structures and architectural metalwork.

You'll utilise Tekla Structures or Advance Steel to create 3D models, ensuring accurate and cost-efficient designs.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects across various sectors, contributing to our mission of delivering superior service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models and arrangement drawings using Tekla Structures or Advance Steel.
  • Produce fabrication drawings, material schedules, and fixing lists in various formats.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Maintain quality standards in CAD drawings.
  • Stay updated on building standards and material specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients and visit sites to meet customer requirements.


Are YOU the person they’ve been looking for?

The business is seeking candidates with at least 5 years’ experience in draughting, particularly those skilled in 3D modelling software for structural steelwork, although a minimum of 3 years' experience will also be considered. Architectural metalwork experience is desirable.
