Your new role
We are looking for a passionate Qualified / Newly Qualified Drama teacher to come and work in this fabulous secondary school that Hays is recruiting for, which is based in Northamptonshire. This school is an inclusive and comprehensive learning environment with a broad and balanced curriculum. The main ambition of this school is to create a vibrant and exciting community where students enjoy success inside and outside the classroom. What you'll need to succeed

  • Enthusiasm for drama will be contagious and inspire students to engage with the subject.
  • Engaging and creative lesson planning: Designing lessons that are dynamic, interactive, and cater to different learning styles is crucial. Think drama games, improvisation exercises, script work analyses, and performance opportunities.
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching KS3/KS4 - also GSCE Drama
  • Patience and a supportive attitude.
  • Collaboration with colleagues in the arts department or other teachers can enhance drama programs and productions.
