 HGV 2 Drainage Engineer 


We are seeking experienced HGV 2 drivers to support our client in the West London area, who are willing to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota.


Our client operate 24/7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota.


Full training / PPE / use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.



Position: Night HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer

Location: North London West

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: Various shifts available

Salary: OTE £35,000 per annum

About The Role

  • Travelling to residential sites via HGV, around the North London area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
  • Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
  • Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
  • Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
  • Rodding blockages.
  • Delivering good customer service.
  • Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.

About You

The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.

You must have a minimum of a HGV Class 2 licence and you must have completed the certificate of professional competence (CPC) and an up to date digi tachograph card
