We are now looking for a Domestic Services Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Domestic Services Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality cleaning, portering, laundry, security and event support services at our Senior School and Prep School.

Managing our Portering, Cleaning and Laundry teams, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness across our boarding houses, academic departments and staff accommodation.

You will co-ordinate cleaning services for external events and residential lets in liaison with our Lettings Co-ordinator, as well as managing our waste contracts and domestic services budget and performance.

Participating in our on-call Estates team rota, you will lead on stock control and ordering, managing and allocating resources appropriately.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage our security arrangements
- Undertake compliance audits
- Make recommendations to improve and develop service delivery
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practice

About You

To be considered as a Domestic Services Manager, you will need:

- Experience of leading a large team within a similar industry
- Experience of budget setting, monitoring and effective cost control
- The ability to produce work schedules, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Strong employee management skills, encompassing recruitment, performance management and training
