Domestic Couple

Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a Couple for their Private Estate in the Dumfries area of Scotland. The property is their main residence but they do travel with business a lot of the time. The Principals have had Couples in the past who have all stayed with them for a number of years and have enjoyed working for them, they insist on confidentiality and discretion but are very welcoming.

The Gardener/Groundsman will need a sound knowledge of plants and trees. The gardens are approximately 4 acres. There is a large area of lawn, flower beds, hedges and woodland.

The Principals are happy to use contractors for any more tasking jobs or those which require specialised equipment.

Duties will include:

• Leaf blowing
• Log splitting
• Mowing is mainly done by robots
• Strimming
• Weeding
• Machinery maintenance

The Housekeeper will be responsible for:

• Housekeeping (8 bedrooms)
• Tidying
• Notifying the Principals of general maintenance needs of the property

Start: May/June 2024

Salary: Gardener £30,000 GPA - Housekeeper £15K per year (extra hours can be available to the housekeeper)

Hours: Gardener Full time - Housekeeper 4 hours per morning Monday to Friday

Accommodation: 2 bedroom lodge, package includes Council Tax and Utility Bills
