Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the construction industry? My client, a specialist subcontractor, is currently seeking a friendly and dedicated Document Controller to join our team on a hybrid basis. As an Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and organising all project documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the construction process. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain project files, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Ensure that all project documents are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Monitor and manage project correspondence, including emails and other communication.
  • Coordinate with project team members to ensure that documents are approved and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Identify potential issues with project documentation and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure that documentation complies with company and industry standards.
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to support project objectives.

Requirements

  • 2/3 years of experience in document control in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of software applications related to document control, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Viewpoint/4Projects is essential.
  • Experience in Asite is also valued
  • Knowledge and understanding of workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.
