Director of People & Culture, Milestones Trust

We are delighted to have been retained as search partners to Milestones Trust to bring to market their new role of Director of People & Culture.

To help drive their ambitious and exciting strategy forward, they are now seeking an experienced Director of People and Culture to provide strategic leadership and operational management to ensure that their People team is fit for purpose, providing an excellent, proactive, efficient service to stakeholders across all aspects of the People agenda.

The Director of People & Culture is responsible for working closely with the CEO and Board to define and lead the implementation of the people agenda, focusing on culture development and organisational design. As Director of People & Culture, you will drive the organisation forward as an employer of choice to ensure Milestones Trust access, attract, develop, and retain the best talent. You will develop and maintain a diverse, inclusive culture and environment which respects the individual, engenders a sense of belonging and fosters an ethos of valuing and supporting each other. The People function will operate as a high-performing, solutions-focused, and collaborative partner to the Trust which directly supports the delivery of their strategic aims. Delivering change in a supportive and collaborative way will be essential to embed new approaches that really make a difference.

For this role, we are ideally seeking an MCIPD or FCIPD qualified candidate with demonstrable strategic HR management and planning experience. We will be looking for suitable candidates to offer significant experience of driving a performance culture and developing high performing leaders, employees, and teams at all levels of an organisation. In addition, the ability to successfully coach and partner with senior managers in delivering organisational goals will be crucial. Experience working within the non-profit and charitable sector is advantageous but not essential.
