This is a well-known, fast-growing, and profitable chartered accounting practice situated in Bristol. They represent a diverse range of clients while identifying a major area of growth within their Legal sector client base and putting in place structured plans and investments to further develop this service line. The team is searching for a significant Director level addition to join them, and there is a true potential to carve a long-term, vital position within the firm's expanding industry and service line, with clear accompanying advancement prospects. Your new role

As a Director located in the firm's Bristol offices, you will lead and expand this growing department within the firm, managing teams, creating client connections, and guiding the company's legal client sector service lines to greater growth. You'll be in charge of leading and managing teams that supply services related to SRA Accounts Rules reporting, law firm accounts, and audits. You will lead and develop this team, working closely with the partner group to ensure the department's continued growth, as well as play a significant role in expanding the customer base through business development efforts and looking to expand this service line. There will be tremendous opportunities for advancement.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an ACA/ACCA with experience in accounting, tax, audit, and general accountancy practice service delivery built in an accountancy practice firm setting. You should have a genuine interest in and experience working with clients in the legal sector, as well as knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules and compliance duties for law firms, as well as familiarity with partnership, LLP, and limited company accounts. You will have progressed to Director levels and will be looking to advance your career in a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.

What you'll get in return

Circa £70,000 - £94,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable with benefits.
