Pyramid8 are supporting a healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced digital transformation professional ideally with NHS experience. You will work with the leadership team within their PCN to create a vision to guide service improvements, identify opportunities to make tangible positive transformation, and provide the inspiration, expertise and leadership to deliver changes in a collaborative way.

This is a fixed term role to start immediately and will be for a minimum of 6 months.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will plan, coordinate and directly support delivery of transformation activity in general practices within our PCN with a view to improving patient access, quality and continuity of care, staff and patient satisfaction, and the efficiency and sustainability of general practice services.

Job responsibilities

The objective of the Digital Transformation Lead is to lead and develop a strategic plan to build a robust digital infrastructure for the PCN and to implement this to drive integrated working, build staff skills and capabilities, enhance patient access whilst protecting the workforce, improve digital accessibility for patients, consider the digital maturity of the PCN, consider the population's health needs and health inequalities within the community and is underpinned by a quality improvement methodology.

Person Specification

  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Programme and Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2 (Practitioner level) and Managing Successful oProgrammes (MSP)
  • Knowledge of TPP SystmOne and EMIS
  • Knowledge of Primary Care, General Practice, Community or Commissioning
  • Significant experience of using programme management and improvement techniques to drive change forward
  • Experience of working in general practice with a good working knowledge of general practice systems
