Are you passionate about connecting consumers with brands through digital marketing strategies? Are you experienced in developing engaging shopper activations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Shopper Marketing Manager to join our client's team.

This is a brand new role, reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, based in Peterborough with lots of flexibility. Most of their employees are based around the UK, including London, Leeds, Wales, Cambridge etc.

Job Purpose:

As the Digital Shopper Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in connecting their consumers with the brand through strategic marketing plans and activations. You will collaborate closely with brand and account managers to drive consumer engagement and conversion.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Digital Marketing in developing and leading the .com shopper marketing strategy.
  • Develop and execute channel plans aligned with category vision, customer plans, and brand objectives to guide consumers through the purchase journey.
  • Create integrated shopper marketing plans that support various products within each brand and drive innovation.
  • Lead the development of a captivating customer digital activation calendar.
  • Collaborate with sales to bring the plans to life, securing support and activation from retailers.
  • Set objectives and KPIs in collaboration with the Head of Digital Marketing and sales/brand teams, delivering them within agreed budgets.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and ROI, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage digital shopper agencies for creative and channel execution.
  • Utilise tools to optimise product listings and improve conversion rates.
  • Develop tools and assets to drive value growth.
  • Manage the digital shopper marketing budget, aligning it with ROI objectives.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and share insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Evolve plans in response to changing digital trends and technologies, ensuring our client's brands lead in the .com space.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Professional marketing and/or digital qualification is advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of digital shopper marketing, online marketplaces, Brandbank, and Efundementals
  • Deep understanding of channel dynamics, customer strategies, and shopper behaviour
  • Experience in multi-channel digital shopper marketing plans
  • Commercial astuteness and analytical mindset
  • Proven track record in a commercial role (Sales, Marketing, Category)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to travel to the head office and attend meetings within the UK
