We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Customer Service Assistant to drive sales growth and maintain high standards across all digital platforms for this established sporting goods company. This role is integral to the team, focusing on exploring new sales opportunities, managing online presence, and ensuring product availability.

You will be joining a small London office of 10. This is an office based role, with the potential to have one day working from home over time. 

Day to Day of the role:

  • Drive sales growth across existing platforms, ensuring high standards and accuracy in all live listings.
  • Generate new sales opportunities by identifying and launching product ranges on new trading platforms.
  • Develop business plans for new platform activations and maintain strong relationships with platform contacts.
  • Manage stock to maximise sales in collaboration with the purchasing team.
  • Implement brand initiatives and be the key point of contact with retailers’ online marketing teams.
  • Monitor ratings and reviews, reporting to the Senior Manager.
  • Develop and execute marketplace and online trading strategies to maximise traffic and conversion rates.
  • Work alongside Sales, Customer Service, Account, and Product Development teams to drive online performance.
  • Manage API connections between marketplaces and internal systems, and create effective listings.
  • Use analytics to drive insights, actions, and measurable improvements across all marketplaces.
  • Manage seasonal product launches, including timely upload of products, photography, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
  • Monitor purchase trends, making recommendations to drive sales and ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns.
  • Hire third-party content creators and manage unique and engaging content production.
  • Utilise Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites to drive traffic to company pages.

This is a junior opportunity and would suit somebody who has a marketing or ecommerce degree with up to 2 years experience. You do not have to have all of the below experience, but ideally you will have digital marketing and ecommerce experience combined with one or two points below. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in website CMS backend, Google Analytics, and Google Adwords.
  • Deep knowledge of keywords, SEO, and metadata.
  • Ability to write and correct HTML and CSS code.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac Photoshop, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with paid search and email marketing.
