A new role due to the expansion of the Marketing Team with a Life Sciences organisation in the Greater Chester Area. This exciting opportunity will sit within an established marketing department who work closed with the Sales and Business Development team. The position will support in the development of engaging content through numerous on-line and off-line activities to inform customers and help generate leads. This is mainly a B2B focused position and will be office based.

The successful candidate will manage our digital media platforms and coordinate event attendance and exhibitions. The Digital Marketing Officer with reports directly to the Head of Marketing and will work with the team to support all areas of the business.

Main responsibilities

• Take ownership of our social media activities, ensuring regular posts and drive online presence
• Keep website up to date, liaising with third parties to maintain SEO ranking
• Organise outbound marketing activities
• Guardian of our brand
• Work with the technical team to develop interesting, informative and promotional content

The experience and skills we are looking for

• 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing focused role
• 1-2 years experience in a biotechnology, Life Science or broader Scientific company/environment
• Highly organised mindset, able to deliver projects/campaigns on time and within budget.
• Liaise and work with external stakeholders and build relationships
• Proven experience in managing digital media (social media, website etc.) and organisation of events
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
• Proficient with automated digital marketing systems & applications
