As our Digital Marketing Executive at Thomas Ridley Foodservice, you will be working within the marketing department, playing a lead role in the management of supplier’s digital & print campaigns.

Thomas Ridley is a leading Foodservice provider, established in Suffolk for over 200 years. Now part of Bidcorp, an international Foodservice group; we pride ourselves on delivering quality products, value, convenience and exceptional customer service, whilst retaining the personal touch. Currently operating predominately within the East of England from two depots, we employ over 200 colleagues and distribute in the region of 40,000 cases daily.

Role Essentials

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and other departments to plan, implement and manage digital campaigns based on annual trends, supplier campaigns, and company projects.
  • Develop and nurture strong supplier relationships, maintaining up-to-date brand banks.
  • Schedule, maintain, and oversee all digital marketing channels, coordinating with departments to execute and monitor marketing campaigns.
  • Measure marketing performance using analytics software and generate reports to monitor campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage the customer database within email marketing software and CRM tools.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing activities, including campaigns, digital sales support, and project management.
  • Support the Head of Marketing and team with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Artworker to create consistent digital posts visually and content-wise.
  • Ensure messaging and promotional content align with company goals and brand values.
  • Stay updated on competitor activity and relevant market trends
  • Undertake any additional tasks as required.

Who we’re looking for

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within digital marketing.
  • Experience running digital marketing campaigns and best practice knowledge
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a desire to learn and willingness to get stuck into a variety of tasks
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Computer literate and interested in using and learning about new software and digital tools
  • Strong and effective communication skills

Salary: 27,000

Location: Bury St Edmunds (Onsite 5 days a week)
