Digital Marketing Assistant
Job Type: Fixed Term, 3-month contract
Location: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, between: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (UK time)
The Role
This unique, entry-level position allows an individual to gain foundational experience in marketing for a global employer organisation and employer of record service provider utilising a multi-channel approach.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a small team with many shared and evolving responsibilities. Tasks will vary from managing social media, websites, email marketing, blogging, and SEO projects.
Major Functions
- CRM Management -you will be given training on Salesforce CRM.
- Internet Ads, PPC
- SEO, Content Marketing, and Email Marketing-you will be given training in WordPress
- Project Management
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing executives in organising various projects
- Conduct market research and analyse consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information
- Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
- Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
- Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
- Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
- Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
Skills and Qualifications
- Studying towards or recently completed bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or communications.
- Google suite, Microsoft Office, or similar project management systems experience a plus
- Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Eager to stay up to date on the latest trends and features in digital marketing
- Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Ability to think critically and ask questions
- Highly detail-oriented
