Location: Rochdale Infirmary, Whitehall Street, Rochdale, OL12 ONB

Hours: 15 hours p/w, ideally on a Friday

Pay rate: From £19.10

Are you an experienced dietitian looking for an exciting new opportunity??Dietetics team in Rochdale are providing these opportunities for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about working with patients in need of therapeutic nutritional support and dietary education.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • BSc/MSc Nutrition and Dietetics or Post Graduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Significant clinical experience in nutrition support following graduation within the NHS
  • Ability to work flexibly within a stressful and unpredictable environment
  • HCPC Registration

Role Details:

  • To accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients, and to organise this efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.
  • To attend ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings as appropriate to ensure a co-ordinated approach to patient care.
  • Decide priorities for own work area, balancing other patient related and professional demands, and ensure that these remain in accordance with specialty.
  • To ensure the safe and timely discharge of patients on nutrition support and liaise with appropriate internal and external agencies.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in discussions concerning the running of the nutrition and dietetic service.
  • Participate in the achievement of dietetic department objectives
