Diesel Technician
An opportunity has arisen to join a diesel engine repairs company in the Loughborough area. Due to experiencing a period of growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join their busy workshop team. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on diesel engine knowledge, either from cars, marine or other backgrounds.
Diesel Technician Position Overview- Workshop based
- Carrying out testing of in-line pumps, diesel injectors, train engines and boat engines
- Remanufacturing/refurbishing of injectors and EGR valves at the repair bench
- Calibrating of parts into vehicle ECU
- Fitting refurbished parts to vehicles and equipment
- Working in a team of technicians
- Training on company specific equipment
- There are future progression opportunities to Workshop Supervisor or Workshop Manager
- Must have a strong understanding of diesel engines. Car mechanic experienced considered.
- Experience with remanufacturing/refurbishing parts
- Mechanical qualifications beneficial but not necessary
- Based within commutable distance of Loughborough
- Salary £30,000 - £40,000
- Annual bonus based on company performance
- Holiday 20 days plus Bank Holidays
- Hours Mon - Friday 08:30 - 17:00. Break 2 x 15 min and one half hour.
- No weekends and not open on Bank Holidays
- Free onsite parking
