My client is currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to come join them in Avonmouth, Sound of Interest?

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide the first line of IT support to all company employees, both on-site and remote workers. The primary goal is to support end users with all IT support queries. Working as part of a small team you will be involved in a range of technologies as you progress and gain more experience within the role.

Main Responsibilities:

1st line triage and resolution of user reported issues
Troubleshooting Windows operating system, and application issues
Configure and deploy laptop and Apple Mobile devices
Basic MDM administration of Apple Devices
Supporting deployment and update of software
Troubleshoot hardware and software faults
Install and configure new end user devices to company standards
Good customer facing skills and ability to prioritize your workload are also key aspects of the role.

Work Experience Requirements:

Experience and/or Qualifications in an IT support role
Experience with Windows 10 and Apple iPhone iOS/iPadOS
Experience with MS O365 Packages
Experience with Active Directory and group policies
Ability to maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
Proactive approach, ability to prioritize and manage own workload
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail
