Established in 2006 my client provides a dedicated high quality liability claims investigation and handling service. The company employs 50 plus staff based at their various offices throughout the UK.

Due to growth they are now looking for a Desktop Claims Handler' to join their small team situated in their Kent Office.

A minimum of 3 years claims handling experience in EL, PL and Product liability claims would be advantageous, but not essential. Working knowledge of property claims and motor claims would also be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and understanding insurance policy terms and conditions.
  • Manage all incoming claims from first notification of loss through to decision and settlement via all key customer communication channels including Telephone and Email.
  • Communicate with claimants throughout the claim process to provide regular updates and advise them on the status, request additional information and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status and outcome of claims.
  • Using internal and external claims administration systems to regularly update the status of all claims and ensure the information is kept up to date at all times.
  • Maintain and manage claims reports and ensure all claims data and statistics are accurate and produced in accordance with SLAs.
