We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a Design & Technology Teacher to join our outstanding school. The successful candidate will be teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5, following the AQA syllabus at GCSE and A Level. Our Design & Technology Department is known for achieving exceptional results, and we are looking for a dedicated teacher to maintain this standard of excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations, following the AQA syllabus.
- Teaching in mixed ability groups and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging creativity and innovation in students’ design and technology projects.
- Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Contributing to the department’s continuous improvement and sharing best practices.
- A specialist in Design & Technology with the ability to teach all stages.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Design & Technology.
- Ambition and commitment to high standards of student learning.
- Ability to challenge and enthuse our diverse student population.
- Excellent classroom practice and a commitment to self-improvement and development.
- A strong commitment to professional development and wellbeing.
