Design Technology Teacher

Are you a Qualified Food Technology Teacher looking for your next challenge? Are you comfortable teaching Product Design, Graphics and Resistant Materials at Key stage 3 & 4? This Ofsted “Good” secondary school is looking for a Product Design specialist with good subject knowledge of the other topics within Design Technology. You will have access to brilliant resources and have an abundance of equipment at your disposal. 

The School are looking for a Product Design Teacher who is able to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of mixed abilities. With an emphasis on delivering a high standard of education to all, you will need to be passionate about delivering excellent lessons. The Design & Technology department have a track record of success and are looking to continue this upward trajectory. 

Job Role: 

  • Delivering GCSE Product Design 
  • Teaching, Graphics and Resistant Materials 
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons 
  • Working closely with the rest of the department 
  • Making learning engaging for students 
  • Training and development
  • Promotional opportunities
You will be:
  •  Be a QTS or ECT D&T Teacher 
  • Knowledge of Product Design to KS4 
  • Be an excellent communicator 
  • Have a passion for D&T
