Are you a qualified Design Technology Teacher seeking new supply opportunities in the Chester area?

Academics are working with secondary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas including Ellesmere Port and the Wirral and we're looking to recruit a Design Technology Teacher to work in both short and long term roles within our client secondary schools starting ASAP and September 2024.

You'll be required to cover the usual class teacher in both planned and unplanned absences teaching across KS3 and KS4.

To work as a Design Technology Teacher with Academics you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching Design Technology up to KS4
  • A flexible and pro-active approach
  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service
