Design Technology Teacher

We are inviting applications for the role of a Technology Teacher, specialising in Food Technology, Design Technology, or both. This role is within a forward-thinking Technology Department at a school that values traditional ethos while providing modern, well-resourced facilities.
Day to Day of the Role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons in Food Technology and/or Design Technology to students aged 11-18.
- Foster a creative learning environment and encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
- Assess and evaluate students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
- Engage with the school community, promoting the importance of technology in education and future careers.
- Support the school’s vision of unlocking potential and transforming lives through exceptional education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience teaching Food Technology and/or Design Technology at secondary level.
- Strong commitment to student welfare and the school’s moral code of honesty, kindness, courage, and diligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school’s ethos and values.
