Design and Technology (DT) Teacher required in Stockport

Type: Full-Time, 1 year contract (with potential for permanent placement)

Salary: £150-£190 per day (dependent on experience)

An exciting opportunity awaits a qualified and dynamic Design and Technology (DT) teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Stockport. This full-time position Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3pm. The role involves planning, preparing, and marking, with the potential for permanent placement for the ideal candidate. The successful applicant will contribute to the development of students through engaging DT lessons, primarily up to Key Stage 4. Ideally you must hold qualified teacher status for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver innovative and inspiring Design and Technology lessons.
• Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall DT curriculum.
