My client is a leading provider of exceptional roofing and waterproof products. Trading in the UK for over 60 years. They are an industry leader in their field, delivering projects on some of Europe's most prestigious buildings.

They are currently in the market for a Design Technician who will be working alongside an established team undertaking all aspects of design focusing on roofing and drainage products in support of the wider commercial team.

The ideal Design Technician would have previous experience in Roofing Design. You will be able to produce 2D architectural details using AutoCAD to illustrate the application of products.

Job Responsibilities
• Promote products and services.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of regulations.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of materials and specification.
• Resolve queries on product application, regulations, detailing, substitution, and performance.
• Create detailed specifications in support of core product offer for inclusion into project tender.
• Provide calculation associated to the works e.g., u-value, drainage, wind load analysis.
• Review and comment on architectural drawings for specification compliance.
• Deliver against KPIs.
• On occasion, attend construction sites and client meetings in support of the external sales team to resolve technical issues and ensure correct procedures are being followed.
• Support the introduction and implementation of any new product or service.
• Adherence to all relevant Health & Safety policy and regulations and the procedures for the processes that apply to the area of work and responsibility.

Experience/Qualifications
• Previous experience within Roofing Design required.
• AutoCAD, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Well organised, with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
• Hold full UK Driving Licence.
