Design Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to work within the Public Sector in a Central Government Department. This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated. Longevity guaranteed keeping you in work for the next 18 months. 50% Hybrid Role!

Essential skills :

Be responsible for maintaining a live safety case for a facility which will include managing the production of engineering design substantiation and assessments to demonstrate that our new and existing assets (facilities, infrastructure, plant and equipment), are safe to operate and are compliant with legislation, Nuclear Licence Conditions, standards and requirements throughout the asset lifecycle

Provide management of a professional engineering service in support of the CASD Programme and the company's strategic goals

Able to work across functions, providing a supportive interface between the Facility, Safety Case Subject Matter Experts and Technical Authorities

Active SC Clearance (Security Check) required.
