Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer? Do you have experience of working with sheet metal, fabrication, and weldments? Do you have strong knowledge of Inventor or SolidWorks? If so, our client, a growing manufacturing business based in Woking, is recruiting for a Project Design Engineer.

Job Description
  • Ensuring timely delivery of design project stages.
  • Producing concept models and drawings for customer approval and quotations using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Creating manufacturing drawings for various processes like welded fabrication and manual assembly.
  • Utilising CAD parametric functions for adaptable part and assembly designs.
  • Providing technical support, liaising with teams, and maintaining professional communication standards.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Holder of a relevant engineering degree or qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of Inventor or SolidWorks.
  • Good knowledge of production techniques including welding, fabrication, sheet metal and machined components.
