NEW OPPORTUNITY - Design Engineer - £55,000 DOE - London - Hybrid

Piper Maddox is currently working closely with a one of the fastest growing renewable energy developers in Europe. To date, they have over 600MW of projects energised and a multi-megawatt project pipeline, all with connection dates. They specialise in the sourcing, design, and advanced development of utility scale solar and BESS projects as well as EV charging solutions more.

Due to an ever-growing influx of cutting-edge projects, they are seeking an experienced design engineer to come into the team and be the focal point of all designs for Solar and BESS projects. With a brilliant team culture and the encouragement for quick growth within the role, this opportunity offers the chance to work on projects across Europe to build up experience and eventually head up the division.

Key responsibilities:
* Create and review accurate designs for BESS and solar PV projects.
* Be the main focal point of design work in order to efficiently work with cross-functional teams.
* Create SLDs, electrical designs and grid applications.

Key Skills:
* Ability to use AutoCAD.
* Ability to use software for PV design.
* Experience with the design of utility scale renewable energy projects.
